MÖTLEY CRÜE's 'Red, White & Crüe' On Track To Sell 80K Copies First Week

MÖTLEY CRÜE's two-CD "greatest hits" collection, "Red, White & Crüe", is poised to sell between 75,000 and 80,000 copies during its first week of release, making it the week's biggest debut, according to Hits Daily Double. In hot pursuit will be "All the Best" from TINA TURNER (Capitol),who, with the help of a Starbucks campaign and an Oprah appearance on Friday, could catch the CRÜE. Meanwhile, Capitol's "Grammy Nominees 2005", which also streeted yesterday (Feb. 1),is on track to sell over 50,000.

In addition to all of the band's all-time classics, "Red, White & Crüe" includes three brand-new CRÜE songs (the new single "If I Die Tomorrow", "Sick Love Song", and a cover of the ROLLING STONES' "Street Fighting Man") recorded by the group's original lineup (except "Street Fighting Man", which features A PERFECT CIRCLE drummer Josh Freese).
